Partner with EMDD Faculty & Students

The Center for Emerging Media Design & Development partners with organizations in a variety of ways. This includes informal experiences as well as grant-driven projects. However, we also have a mechanism to work on more directed projects with companies. These partnerships are designed to fit the needs of our partnering organization, but they may be loosely structured in one of these ways.

For more information on these types of partnerships, you can contact the Center’s directors, Jennifer George-Palilonis and Brad King.

Summer Partner Researcher

  • Deliverables: The Summer Partner Researcher  would fund one graduate assistant for one semester. The G.A. would work in conjunction with the Creative Projects and Research Labs to coordinate and deliver creative and research efforts, which may include designing protocols, running research or other participant groups, developing reports, and working on analysis. While the G.A. would receive oversight and instruction from the Labs, there would be minimal faculty contact outside those spaces. Partners would provide directed instruction in the form of client-specific deliverables and a final evaluation of the creative and research endeavors.
