Melodie Griffin, MA.

Project Manager of Emerging Media Design and Development

Melodie Griffin is an instructor for Ball State University’s Department of Journalism, and the project manager of the Center for Emerging Media Design & Development. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English with concentrations in creative writing and literature during 2017 from Ball State University.  In 2019, Melodie gained her Master’s in EMDD. 

Melodie’s research interests include video game narrative design, UX in video gaming, and virtual reality in video gaming. Her master’s thesis focused on player immersion in survival horror video games. You can read more about her thesis here

From 2017 to 2018, Melodie taught creative writing at Daleville Elementary school, Muncie’s Youth Opportunity Center, and Cornerstone Center for the Arts.
