The David Letterman Learning Experience
How might leverage the rich storytelling potential of the Letterman Collection to create meaningful immersive learning opportunities for Ball State Students?
The 2018-2019 project team created two major projects. The first involved the development of a physical museum experience that includes state-of-the-art technology to leverage the rich storytelling potential of items in the collection of artifacts David Letterman shared with Ball State in 2015. The second includes a pop-up exhibition designed to share Dave’s creativity and humor with the campus community. The David Letterman Learning Experience builds on the basic concepts of immersive learning by providing collaborative opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students.
The 2018-2019 project team completed a physical, pop-up exhibit that was displayed in Ball State’s Letterman Building in the Spring of 2019. Pictured here is Darby Siscoe showcasing one of the interactive displays.
