Engaging, educating, and motivating Hoosiers to become aware and involved in local and global water through the complex stories of water quality issues in the state

Water Quality Indiana

How might we convey the importance of Indiana’s water quality issues in a saturated media landscape?

Using extensive research methods to gather data about the media habits and social interests of generations around the state, the Water Quality Indiana team produced a Transmedia Communication Strategy guide that outlined the most effective channels and stories to inspire action from groups of various ages in Indiana. This guide can be used by organizations with actionable messages to transport their calls-to-action to the most effective groups.

The team’s versatile Transmedia Communication Strategy guide can be used by many different groups with action-based messages. This guide also informed the team’s own approach to the WQI project.
